Internal Investigations

The team at Behr McCarter Neely & Gabris is experienced in conducting internal investigations involving public and private entities as well as educational, healthcare, and governmental institutions. Our attorneys have collected evidence and interviewed witnesses across the United States and in foreign countries from Eastern Europe to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba regarding anything from harassment and criminal misconduct to matters implicating national security. Our team is led by Joe Neely, a former Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and federal prosecuting attorney whose experience includes working with state and federal prosecutors, Department of Justice, Department of Defense, Department of State, Bureau of Prisons, Department of Homeland Security, US Secret Service, US Postal Inspection Service, US Marshals Service, and Naval Criminal Investigative Services as well as state and local law enforcement. 

All of our investigations are done with an eye towards discretion in order to limit the visibility and impact of an investigation while simultaneously providing a systematic and comprehensive report.
