EDWARD V. CRITES
Licensed in Missouri and Illinois, Ed represents individuals, physicians, businesses and municipalities in matters involving personal injury, professional discipline, employment discrimination, commercial, insurance and construction disputes in federal and state courts. He has extensive jury trial experience and has handled appeals before the Eight Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals, Missouri Supreme Court, and the Missouri and Illinois Courts of Appeals. He has also represented physicians, nurses and therapists before the Missouri Board of Healing Arts and the Illinois Division of Professional Regulation. As a mediator, he has assisted parties in resolving their disputes without the need for a trial.
With a B.S.fromMissouri State University and his M.A. and J.D. cum laudefrom St. Louis University, Ed has lectured on trial practice before local and state bar associations and medical schools. He has authored multiple articles for legal and medical journals.
Current President of the Catholic Bar Association, board member of the St. Thomas More Society and Grand Knight in the Knights of Columbus, he has also served on school and parish finance councils, volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and as a family court GAL. Founder of the Warson Woods Running Club, he is a former provisional judge in the City of Warson Woods and is a current member of its Board of Adjustment.
An avid runner, Ed has completed nine marathons. He and his wife have three daughters.
